HCA Healthcare's Far West division hospitals among nation's best in patient safety

Prestigious Healthgrades™ rankings show hospitals' commitment to safe treatment of patients.

Healthgrades™, the leading marketplace connecting patients, physicians and health systems, has released its 2024 Patient Safety Excellence Awards and HCA Healthcare’s Far West Division facilities rank among the best in the country.  Good Samaritan Hospital, Los Robles Regional Medical Center and Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center all rank in the top 5% of hospitals nationwide in terms of excellence in patient safety.

“Patient safety has always been at the top of our priorities and these rankings reflect the commitment our physicians, nurses and staff bring every day when it comes to our patients,” said Dr. Jeff Murawsky, division chief medical officer. “Every patient who enters one of our hospitals will be treated with care and compassion and with their safety foremost in mind.”

  • Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award for 3 years in a row (2022-2024)
  • Among the Top 5% in the Nation for Patient Safety 2024

Los Robles Regional Medical Center:

  • Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award™ Two Years in a Row (2023-2024)
  • Among the Top 5% in the Nation for Patient Safety Two Years in a Row (2023-2024)

Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center:

  • Healthgrades 2023 Patient Safety Excellence Award™
  • Among the Top 5% in the Nation for Patient Safety 2024
